John Adams sketched Weymouth along with Braintree in his map of taverns. It is located in Massachusetts and has a rich history involving the Pilgrims. Due to poor planning, after a harsh winter, the early settlers here suffered from a severe lack of supplies. This caused them to steal supplies from Native Americans who traded fairly with Plymouth. The Native Americans were fed up and organized to destroy the Weymouth settlement and possibly Plymouth afterwards. Massasoit caught wind of this and warned Myles Standish. This led Myles and his troops to go to Weymouth and settle the situation. Incredible!
