Secretary of Congress Charles Thompson

A true patriot leader! Thomson was part of the American Revolution and was the secretary of the Continental Congress throughout its existence (1774 – 1789). He took a direct role in the conduct of foreign affairs and many suggested he was essentially the “Prime Minister of the United States.” Thompson was involved in designing the Great Seal of the United States and his name also appeared on the Declaration of Independence.
