Palace of Westminster

Also known as the Houses of Parliament since it where both the House of Commons and the House of Lords meet. It is located on the River Thames. It was the home of the King of England but fire claimed it in 1512. We took Benjamin Franklin back here so he could speak to the House of Commons. Franklin made a speech there to fight for the rights of the colonies. Unfortunately, Parliament did not listen and the American Revolutionary War followed.
