Mohawk Indians

The Sons of Liberty really had a lot of fun dressing up sort of like the Mohawk people during the Boston Tea Party. These Native American people come from the Mohawk Valley in upstate New York and their territory included parts of Ontario and Quebec. Their name translates to “Bear Place People.”
