Inoculation

Smallpox was a great danger during the American Revolution. Dr. Joseph Warren used a technique called inoculation to help individuals become immune to the disease. The way this works is by making a small incision to someone’s skin then introducing a mild form of smallpox disease into the wound. If the body can fight off the disease it will become immune to it. Though it saved a lot of people’s lives, I just could not let Dr. Warren inoculate Cam!
